Masking the clips on your primary will improve star images by eliminating flare. The images at left show a primary mirror without and with our mask. The star images below show results without and with the mask.

Precision cut from light weight 1/8" thick acrylic, one side flat black. Adhere with small Velcro dots or similar.

Required dimensions when ordering:

1. Mirror diameter
2. Mirror clip width from inside to outside.
3. Distance mirror clip overhangs the mirror.

Please measure with a millimeter ruler, an example is shown below.

Your mask will be easy to center perfectly as the outside edge of the mask will align precisely with the outside edge of the mirror clips.
